Joanne has been in the healthcare management field for the past 30 years. She brought her experience to Capogna Orthodontics nine years ago. She is involved in all aspects of the practice and enjoys getting all the positive feedback patients so generously offer. She is always available to address your needs, and welcomes your comments. She is constantly striving to enhance our patients experience as they await the arrival of their “winning smile”.

Fran has been our scheduling coordinator for the past nine years. She will meet and greet you with her warm and friendly personality. In addition, she performs many of the routine office duties that make our office run so efficiently.

Donna has a long history with Capogna Orthodontics. She started working with Dr. Capogna 20 years ago when she completed her education as a dental assistant. She has worked in all areas of the office, but will now be found at the front desk taking care of scheduling, phone calls, and answering any questions you may have.

Carrie joined Dr. Capogna’s team in 2001 and came with extensive customer service experience. Carrie will help you with all your insurance questions, check your benefits and handle the processing of your claims. In addition, she will be able answer any of your financial questions or concerns, always with a smile.

Dawn has been part of Dr. Capogna’s clinical team as a certified orthodontic assistant for the past 16 years. She enjoys the camaraderie that is shared with her fellow teammates, and gets great satisfaction from helping Dr. Capogna create his “winning smiles”! She loves working with the patients, and brings an enthusiasm to our team that has helped us achieve excellence in orthodontics.

Jamie has been a member of our team since 2000. She began working as an office assistant while furthering her orthodontic education. She has her certification as an orthodontic technician from the American Association of Orthodontics. In addition to her chair side abilities, she is also fluent with insurance, scheduling, and front desk/reception duties. Her ability to multi-task makes her an enormous asset to our office.

Ro has been an Orthodontic Assistant for 23 years, and has been with Dr. Capogna for 14. She works as a liaison for the doctors and explains treatment plans to the patients. She is very sensitive to everyone’s needs and makes sure you leave your visit as informed as possible. She has her certification from the American Association of Orthodontics.

Vanessa has been an orthodontic technician for 11 years and has been with Dr. Capogna for the past six. Upon beginning her career in the orthodontic field, she had completed the requirements for chair side assisting with recognition from the Suffolk County Dental Society in 1998. Since then, she has completed the necessary course to receive her certification as an orthodontic technician from the American Association of Orthodontics. Vanessa works closely with the doctors on certain aspects of patient treatment and she instructs patients on proper care and maintenance of their orthodontic appliances.

Michelle has been a part of our staff for the past seven years. She is a licensed, registered Orthodontic technician. Michelle mainly functions as our Lab Coordinator, combining sterilization of instruments with model and photo preparation and management of all cases that require outside laboratory fabrication. She is well versed in computer digital technology and is responsible for our Image Data Management. In addition, her creativity can be seen throughout the office in the form of decorating the office for all holidays throughout the year.

Barbara is an Orthodontic Technician with 28 years experience. She has been with Dr. Capogna for the past eight years, and is a Certified Orthodontic Technician. Her friendly personality radiates throughout the office, and she takes much pride in helping the doctors create beautiful smiles. She is passionate about making sure you leave after your visits as informed as possible.

Eleni has been with us since 2005. She has 20 years experience in the field. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Hunter College in New York City. She decided on orthodontics because she enjoys interacting with the patients and loves to see beautiful smiles. She has her certification in orthodontic assisting and is constantly taking courses to further her education. She offers her knowledge to our patients when it comes time to explain their new appliances. Her gentle nature is a comfort to both patients and parents alike.
