How Invisalign Works

How Invisalign Works

Invisalign works by applying gentle forces to your teeth to move them into a better position. You wear each set of aligners for about one week, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to their final positions. You'll visit us about once every 8-10 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time will vary from case to case.

  • 3D digital computer simulation allows us to design a unique plan for each individual patient.
  • You will receive a set of aligners to move your teeth into the desired position.
  • You will need to wear your aligners 22 hours a day. Your teeth will gradually move with each new aligner.
  • At the end of treatment retainers are worn to maintain your beautiful new smile!
